City tour "Kyiv in the evening". The city displays both the tranquillity of its ancient past and the frenzy of a newly independent nation. Kyiv located on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river is one of the greenest cities of the world, full of attractions.

DAY 2, Friday: KYIV - SIMFEROPOL - YALTA This day will start with visit to St. Sophia Cathedral - the oldest survived church that was built in 1037 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. This majestic 13-domed church makes huge impression on visitors with its rich frescoes and mosaics many of which are still intact. It is a national shrine and is under the patronage of UNESCO. Free time at Mikhailivska square and Andryivsky Uzviz - "Greenwich Village" or "Montmartre of Kyiv" filled with art shops and exhibits, cafes, beauty and charm - for shopping and buying souvenirs.
Lunch at hotel. Preparation for the journey and check out.
After lunch - visit to Lavra Cave Monastery. This functioning monastery founded in 1051 by monks is situated picturesquely on a highland overlooking the Dnipro River. It boasts numerous churches, bell tower and miles of underground tunnels (caves) with ancient crypts and ecclesiastical objects. Optional: visit to Museum of the Historical Treasures & Jewellery located on the grounds of Lavra.
In the evening - transfer to airport and then flight PS will bring you to Simferopol - the capital of Crimean Autonomic Republic - and then to Yalta. Check in to hotel or healthfarm and followed by dinner.
DAY 3, Saturday: YALTA The highlight of the day - visit to Vorontsov's Palace Ensemble in Aloupka - the project of Anglophile regional governor Count Mikhail Vorontsov and one of the first palaces of Russian aristocracy in Crimea. There is a surprising mix of British and Arabic styles, both inside and outside.
Lecture & tasting of original Crimean wines produced by world-renowned distillery "Massandra".
Lunch will be served at famous restaurant "Swallow's Nest" with its unique location and stunning views apart from it. This place is the emblem of Southern Crimea. Coffee and cakes from the restaurant are highly recommended.
OPTIONAL: Excursion by cable car to the top of Ai Petri mountain (1233m over the sea level) from which one can enjoy the magnificent landscapes of Southern Crimea and the Black Sea
DAY 4, Sunday: The highlight of the day is a full-day trip to SEVASTOPOL A picturesque drive in morning along coastline of the Black Sea through the mountain scenery and numerous ice-cold natural highland springs leads to Foros - summer residence of former USSR President Michael Gorbachev. You will also be acquainted with the cliff-side Resurrection Church.
Continuing west we reach our next destination - the city of Sevastopol, the most famous as home of the Black Sea Fleet and for it's central role in two major conflicts; namely the eastern front during World War II and Crimean (Eastern) War.
City tour + visit to "Panorama", a must-see item - 360-degree painted masterpiece depicting the besieged city in incredible detail, the monument to the epic struggle for Sevastopol.
Coach trip to the museum on excavations of an ancient city Khersones, which dates back to Greek settlements of over two thousand years ago. Lunch at local restaurant "Dialogue".
After lunch - visit to Inkerman's brand wines distillery, - underground tunnels with the total length of 50km, familiarisation with distilling process, wines tasting
Transfer to Yalta and overnight
DAY 5, Monday: YALTA Breakfast at hotel (health farm) and recreation, taking a refreshing bathe in the sea.
In the afternoon visit to world-renowned Nykitsky Botanical Gardens. This time will be allocated for browsing through the regal park alleys where numerous species of plants from all over the world are collected. The Enchanted Garden blooms every season of the year and is the most famous botanical gardens in Ukraine.
Then you'll be enjoyed the social meeting with the personnel of Scientific & Research Institute and wine distillery "Magarach", where you'll be get acquainted with distilling process, visit to wine cellars, wines tasting
DAY 6, Saturday: YALTA The morning features: familiarisation with the main attractions of Yalta & visit to Livadia Palace, a wonderful Italian Renaissance-style palace, built of white Crimean granite with more than a hint of Arabic about it. The building that stands there today, made world famous for hosting the Big Three conference in February 1945 with Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill, was built in 1911 for the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II as a summer residence.
The remainder of the day is free for independent exploration of Yalta, leisure at beaches of the Black Sea, etc.
DAY 7, Wednesday: YALTA - SOUDAK - KOKTEBEL Leaving Yalta behind, we wind to our next destination the town of Soudak to visit Genoese Fortress. After lunch we enjoy a most interesting excursion in the world renowned champagne distillery "Noviy Svet" (the New World) - the processor of Grand Prix 1900 in Paris. Tasting of 7 sorts of champagne
Transfer Novy Svet - Koktebel. Check in to hotel "Prymorye***", dinner and overnight.
DAY 8, Thursday: KOKTEBEL - FEODOSIA - SIMFEROPOL - KYIV Before lunch we enjoy leisure at fine pebble beaches of the Black Sea, taking bathe in the sea. This afternoon completes the last segment of our "Crimean vacations". Transfer: Koktebel - Feodosia and visit to Fine Arts Gallery of the great marine painter in the history of painting Ivan Aivazovsky. His pictures, in which the sea is definitely recognisable and intensely beautiful, continue to be admired by the public. Transfer: Feodosia-Simferopol for the flight PS Simferopol-Kyiv. Arrive Kyiv. - Visit to Malakhov Hill monument, dedicated to the bastion there which finally fell to the French, signalling an end to the siege
- Visit to Balaklava (in Turkish means "many fish") - wonderful natural harbour, which was home to the mighty British Fleet for the duration of the Crimean conflict. Visit to ruins of an ancient Genoese fortress, which was later part of a middle-ages Tatar slave market. It was also here that Florence Nightingale "the Lady of the Lamp" set up her main hospitals, with the sea breezes playing an important role in the convalescence process.

After lunch - visit to Cave "AIR" town of Chufut Kale, one of the largest of the region's cave-towns and home to people for two and half millennia according to recent academic estimates, + familiarisation with acting cave Monastery of Assumption.
