Day 2, KYIV This day will start with City tour. The city displays both the tranquillity of its ancient past and the frenzy of a newly independent nation. Kyiv located on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river is one of the greenest cities of the world, full of attractions.
Visit to St Sophia Cathedral - the oldest survived church that was built in 1037 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. This majestic 13-domed church makes huge impression on visitors with its rich frescoes and mosaics many of which are still intact. It is a national shrine and is under the patronage of UNESCO. Free time at Mikhailivska square and Andryivsky Uzviz - "Greenwich Village" or "Montmartre of Kyiv" filled with art shops and exhibits, cafes, beauty and charm - for shopping and buying souvenirs. Lunch with Ukrainian cuisine at traditional restaurant "KOURENI". After lunch enjoy boat riding "Panorama of Kyiv from the Dnipro River".

Day 3, Full day coach trip KYIV-CHERNIHIV-KYIV (time en-route 2 hrs one way) Early drive northwards through the scenic beauty of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions to the destination - Chernihiv, the city-contemporary of Kyiv. City tour. The very first record of Chernihiv dates back to 907 AD. It is famous for it's historical and cultural impressive monuments of the 11-12th centuries in all their splendours. Visits to Saviour and Transfiguration Cathedrals, Antoniyiv's Caves. Lunch at the local restaurant. Ample time will be allocated to explore numerous churches and cathedrals. Return to Kyiv. Dinner at hotel
Day 4, Full day coach trip KIYV-L'VIV (time en-route 14 hours) Preparation for journey, breakfast and check out. We motor west skirting the scenic landscapes of Kyivsky and Zhytomyrsky regions. Before reaching our destination a stopover will be made in the city of Rivne for lunch with Ukrainian cuisine at restaurant of hotel "TOURIST". Continuing west then we reach our destination in the late evening. Arrive L'viv, check in to hotel***. Dinner.
Day 5, L'VIV City tour. Founded in 1256 by Galician Prince Danilo Galitskiy and named after his son Lev, L'viv was always a key regional city, be it as trading post or administrative centre for long forgotten empires. The city's blend of Baroque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture offers a thousand picture postcards views.
Excursion in the Open Air Museum "Shevchenkivskyi Gai". Lunch with Ukrainian cuisine at the local restaurant. Free time for independent exploration of the city. Dinner at hotel.
Day 6, L'VIV-POCHAYIV LAVRA-CHERNIVTSI. (time en-route 12 hours) Preparation for journey, check out. This day promises spectacular full day trip L'VIV-POCHAYIV LAVRA-CHERNIVTSI. Early driving to our destination - Pochayiv Lavra Visit to Pochayiv Lavra - the largest monastery in the part of Ukraine known as Volyn' and which is ranked second after the Lavra Monastery of Caves in Kyiv. Lunch at the local restaurant. Departure for the next destination - Chernivtsi, with it's harmoniously combined old and modern architecture. Check in to hotel "CHEREMOSH". Dinner at hotel.
Day 7, CHERNIVTSI -KAMYANETS. (time en-route 2 hours) Preparation for journey, check out. City tour in Chernivtsi. A picturesque drive in the mourning leads to the town of Kamyanets, where there are preserved several historical landmarks and architectural monuments. The main attractions - functioning Town Hall, Peter-and-Paul Cathedral, Dominican Roman-Catholic Cathedral, Old Fortress - are very popular with tourists. In 1972 Kamyanets was declared a town-landmark and since 1997 it's under the patronage of UNESCO. Check in to hotel "UKRAINA" and lunch. After lunch - City tour + visit to "Old Fortress". The Lore Museum expositions opened in the "Fortress" familiarise visitors with the life and traditions of Ukrainians. Dinner at hotel.
Day 8, full day coach trip KAMYANETS-VINNYTSYA-KYIV. (Time en-route 12 hours) This day will start with the trip to Kyiv through the spectacular landscapes of Ukrainian nature as we head north-east across Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsya, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. Stopover at Vinnytsya. Visit to Museum of Pirogov -world renowned surgeon of 19th century- and the chapel where his embalmed body is preserved since 1881. Lunch with Ukrainian cuisine at restaurant of hotel "Podillya" in Vinnytsya. Arrive Kyiv in the evening, check-in to hotel*** Dinner.
Day 9, KYIV The highlight of the day - visit to Lavra Cave Monastery. This functioning monastery founded in 1051 by monks is situated picturesquely on a highland overlooking the Dnipro River. It boasts numerous churches, bell tower and miles of underground tunnels (caves) with ancient crypts and ecclesiastical objects.
Optional: visit to Museum of the Historical Treasures & Jewellery located on the grounds of Lavra. Lunch at restaurant "YARYVTSI" located on the territory of Museum of Folk Architecture & Habitat. After lunch - excursion in the Museum which offers an exciting walk through the history of Ukrainian peasants' houses, churches, information about traditions, habits and country life of Ukrainian folk. Dinner at hotel. Evening is free for independent exploration of the city and preparations for the homeward journey
Day 10, KYIV Breakfast at hotel. Preparations for homeward journey. Time for last minute shopping and farewells. Transfer to the airport in time to check-in for the return flight
