ORTHODOX PASKHA (EASTER) in KYIV

DAY 1, April 8.
Arrive Kyiv. Transfer: airport-hotel. Ñity tour on the way to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. Dinner at hotel.
DAY 2, April 9.
Breakfast at hotel. A full day trip to Chernihiv, the city - contemporary of Kyiv. The very first record of Chernihiv dates back to 907 AD. It is famous for it's historical and cultural impressive monuments of the 11-12th centuries in all their splendours.
City tour + visits to Saviour and Transfiguration Cathedrals, Antoniyiv's Caves (local guide) Transfer: Chernihiv - Kyiv. Return to hotel.
DAY 3, April 10.
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Lavra Cave Monastery. This functioning monastery founded in 1051 by monks is situated picturesquely on the highland overlooking the Dnipro River. It boasts numerous churches, a bell tower and miles of underground caves housing ancient crypts, mummified priests and ecclesiastical objects.
Visit to Taras Shevchenko museum. Dinner is in Ukrainian traditional restaurant.
Participating in night Liturgy at St. Volodymyr Cathedral.
DAY 4, April 11 - Easter Celebration
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Vydubichskiy Monastery. Visit to Pirohovo. Easter Festive lunch in restaurant of Ukrainian Yarivtsy on the territory Pirohovo Museum.
OPTIONAL! Visit to Opera House.
DAY 5, April 12.
Breakfast at Hotel. Check out. Visit to St. Sophia Cathedral. Transfer to the airport. Depart Kyiv.
