The capital of Ukraine boasts both the tranquillity of an ancient city and the frenzy of a newly independent nation. The harmony of modern constructions and historical architecture, the greenery of its many parks and gardens together create a unique and refined aura. One can't help falling in love with St Sophia with its XIth century frescoes and mosaics, or with the golden domes of St Michael's Cathedral. Then there's Pechersk Lavra Monastery with its caves and the magnificent baroque of St Andrew's Church.
Kyiv offers a miraculous cultural and entertainment programme. The city features more than 20 theatres and great number concert halls, art galleries and exhibitions, as well as dozens of traditional restaurants, night clubs and casinos.
Day 1.
Arrival in Kyiv. Meet/greet at the airport. Transfer: airport -hotel. Check in to hotel.
City tour. Kyiv, located on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river, is one of the greenest cities of the world, full of attractions. Visit to St. Vladimir Cathedral. Lunch at restaurant.
Visit to St Sophia Cathedral - the oldest survived church that was built in 1037 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. This majestic 13-domed church makes huge impression on visitors with its rich frescoes and mosaics many of that are still intact. It is a national shrine and is under the patronage of UNESCO. Visit to Mikhaylovskaya square, Monument to Princess Olga. Walking tour along Andreyevskiy street. Return to hotel. Free time. "Welcome to Ukraine" - Gala Dinner of Ukrainian cuisine at nationally stylised restaurant "Shynok U Seni I Gogi".

Day 2.
Breakfast at hotel. Highlight of the day is a "must see" visit to Kyiv-Pechers Lavra Cave Monastery. This functioning monastery founded in 1051 by monks is situated picturesquely on the highland overlooking the Dnipro River. It boasts numerous churches, a bell tower and miles of underground caves housing ancient crypts, mummified priests and ecclesiastical objects. Lunch at Ukrainian stylised restaurant. Free time for individual exploration of the city.
Day 3.
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Museum of Ukrainian Folk Architecture and Habitats "PIROHOVO" (Open-air museum). Lunch at restaurant "Yarivtsy", located on the grounds of Museum.
OPTIONAL! Visit to House of Organ Music (classical music performance).
Day 4.
Breakfast at hotel. Preparation for journey. Check out. Transfer to the airport. Depart Kyiv
